Thanks! I really don't see our lasting until Christmas--I told them that's when we could eat it. I'm surprised the little candies haven't started disappearing yet.
Some friends of mine do a Halloween party where the big activity is making "haunted" gingerbread houses. We use graham crackers rather than mucking around with baking actual gingerbread. Leaves more time for drinkin'.
Miranda wants to do a Halloween one as well, which I think would be great because if it's all lopsided and crookedy it will just look better.
I was just going to buy a kit because they are on sale everywhere, but they all came with gummy candies and Miranda can't eat them with her braces. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it was a good idea to space it out over a few days rather than try and do it all in one evening.
