I'm not sure I can say anything negative about it (not that I want to). I like the drumbeat/music for the background since it instill a sense of excitement. A lot of good face shots of both performers and spectators and I like the joust as the finish.

Does it give you an idea of what goes on at CTRF?

It does, yes. Watching it again though, I did think that it would be nice to see musicians and dancers too. If they're in there now, they don't really stand out.

The question screen, (Are ready to make history?) could use a second more. It goes by just a touch too fast. And other than the fact that I'm not in it, again, it looks great! =)

I agree with the fact that it needs to stay on that "Ready to make History" part a split second longer, that seems to be the catchphrase so to speak and it needs more emphasis. I understand that the fighting is the big draw for folks so the heavy emphasis on swords and jousting makes sense.

Ditto on the question shot-that's going to be what catches peoples' attention. The only thing I didn't like about it was there were no shots of anyone shopping. I like all the shots that are in there, but I think the shopping is a big part of why a lot of people go, so I would so some merchants in there to let people know that they can do that there as well.

I think it is MUCH much better than the commercial for 2008. The sound effects are way too much, and maybe a little music in the background might make it grab attention a bit more. Overall I rather like it - the over-emphasis on action shots was a really smart move, though using RenRabbit, much as I have grown to like him, was not. My only fear is that using him in the commercial will make people think that that is a common sight around the faire. It could potentially be a draw for young kids and families, but it also could turn away a lot of other potential guests who might worry that the Faire is an over-commercialized theme park. Maybe less RenRabbit, at the very least?
