Yes Mac OS X on Intel is wicked-cool, but Apple will not magically gain device drivers for every hardware device that could possibly be connected to a PC.

Just because your Windows PC recognizes your graphics tablet, doesn't mean that it still will when you boot the same PC into Linux, Solaris/x86, FreeBSD, or Mac OS X.

I've loved the UNIX-ness aspect of Mac OS X since the day it was first available to mere mortals (as opposed to developers who pay exorbitant anual subscription fee$).
Just open a command-shell, and there's all your favourite command-line unix infrasturcture bash, perl, find, grep, xargs, etc ( Read more... )
