He may well have been, but my landlady would have evicted me if I did more than foster! He is a good dog and I hope he is doing well with his new family.
He really is beautiful. Good for you, Deana. I think it is a wonderful thing that you are doing. Now that we have Buttercup, I find myself being much more vocal about pets, their comfort and safety, etc.
That's how it goes. How can you bring one into your home, love on it, get its love in return, and not want to be a part in making the lives of other, unlucky animals better? It is a real wake-up call to realize not everyone treats their pets with basic kindness and care, let alone welcome them as actual family members. Why have animals if you don't get any benefit from their companionship?
Thank you for fostering. I've fostered a number of cats over the last couple years, but dogs are so much more work. You are doing something amazing. :)
Fostering is hard no matter what kind of critter you bring into the home! How do you not fall in love with the furry beasts? It is worth it when you know they are going to a good forever home. Howie is a good dog and an absolute cuddler. I hope his new family is enjoying his snuggles.
