The Grapes of Wrath, A Wrinkle in Time, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Scarlet Letter, A brave New World, Of Mice and Men, Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl, The Catcher in the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest... I remember all these books being an one reading list or another through my school-age years, and I've read most of these. :/ That's so weird.

Most of the ones in the "Socially Offensive" ones were books I read in school for English classes through the years so I thought it was weird as well.

Are these books that are banned now or had been banned in the past?

I guess I must have subversive tastes - I can see a lot of my favourites on there! :-D

They are banned in some schools and Libraries but not all. When I read Fahrenheit 451 in High School we discussed the irony of a book about censure-ship was in turn censured.
