Gosh, I keep forgetting to update things here.
Speech class is going along smoothly.
This past 4th of July weekend I went with some friends to Houston to protest the whole NSA spying thing. Afterwards we went to Austin to play some pinball and go to the computer history museum. I got some really nice pictures of the equipment in the small museum they have.
I've been playing a game called Chrome. I hate it. Well, it could be a really good game, but the controls are very sluggish. It's basically like walking in place on ice.

Had a dream that my aunt had a bunch of old camera equipment that somehow controlled sewing equipment and wanted to know if I wanted it.

Went over to the TV studio I'll be interning at after school. The lady I talked to said that she couldn't promise that I'd be doing the specific things that I wanted to do so I'll see how it goes.
July 23:
Gave my speech about the NSA today in speech class. I think I did well but the topic is just really too big to cover in five minutes. Final for the class is tomorrow.
July 24:
Final went very well I think. Found out I made an 88% on my speech... better than I thought I would do. After the test, I went over to the TV station to do some observing.
August 4:
The more I watch the Funday Pawpet Show, the more I want my own puppet of my character.
August 8:
Internship is going OK, though all I'm really doing right now is transcription.
August 10:
Hard drive on my backup server is starting to fail. Once I get a replacement in, I'll try to figure out a way to let friends explore the music I have on it.
August 14:
Walk into the studio, learn that a few people had been laid off. It was a very stressful day.
August 18:
In my dream, I saw someone getting a tattoo of 'YOLO' on top of the image of a starving African child.
