A Mom update...

So Mom went in for her biopsy today. Originally...the Doc was going to test two of the four lumps that were found, but arbitrarily decided to test all four. Then...for some reason...he decided it was a good idea to take the sample through the same hole he made in her breast. The idiot tore her open so much that they had to stitch her up

So far. She's very angry right now though.

And I'm still poised to take her to the hospital if she wishes.

Where on earth was she treated? My mom's cousin recently had surgery to remove something or other in his gut at a military hospital (local at that) but days afterward he was still sore and such. The doctor said he was fine, but he was urged by family to go elsewhere for a second opinion. Turns out the site of the operation had become infected, so he had to be rushed back in for emergency care to remove the diseased tissue. So now he has a gaping canyon on his belly. Pretty nasty... It really is shocking just what medical 'professionals' do. Here's hoping your mom just got bloodied up but won't have any nice side effects to go with it.

You mean my mom's cousin? Last I heard he was finally recovering without the pain he'd experienced before, so that's a good sign. He even had enough of a sense of humor to take a picture of his gaping gut (it was symmetrical so it looked like he has lips on his belly) so he can't be too bad off. Just a bit sore at the original place swindling him as it did.
