So it seems that Kileen has officially abandoned me without word as to why.
She changed her relationship status on her MySpace and Facebook to the single type.

What courage. What consideration.

If it's any consolation, someone I was hoping to get into a more serious relationship with did the very same thing to me last year. After being 'hot and heavy', he just up and vanished without a word. I finally was able to get a few words out of him a few months back and found out the why...but it's still so very disappointing, and oftentimes the reason is stupid. It hurts to have a supposed loved one just up and drop you like that.

I don't really expect to every know why though. I've been that thoroughly shut out.

I'm very sorry that you've been through the same. You deserve a great deal better than that.

I only found out the why because I finally confronted him on the issue in as nice a way as possible. (It was also a long distance relationship, which was my first mistake, so the 'confrontation' was courtesy of texting on the cell phone since I was too scared to call.) Otherwise I don't think he would have ever said anything. Again, his reason was stupid, and I doubt your lady friend's reasons are much better. People just make stupid choices sometimes.

That's very true about people and choices. In my case...I confronted her directly in as nice a way as possible.
That's when I got the answers (referred to in a previous post) "I'm sorry I'm the way I am.." and "I don't know what I want."
That's about all I have to summarize this whole event.
Some manage to bring a long distance relationship together, though it's rare. And sadly...close proximity is no guarantee of success in a relationship.
We can only hope for better the next time around.
