I've accepted the new position. I am a nerd. But I enjoy it. I've already started the literature search by googling of all places and I've already been overwhelmed with information (I was told to be creative with how I gather info...what's more non-academic than google?). Is it bad that when your advisor e-mails you and wants to meet with you your heart siezes up and you start to have an anxiety attack? Yes, it probably is. I have a very guilty conscience....there is no proposal written yet. I'm now scared to death to meet with my Advisor tomorrow morning because I have no updates to speak of. So today I had an anxiety attack in the grocery store. Hmm...I think I am overstressed.

I am so stressed out right now! Suddenly, I'm really in graduate school. The first year was a joke! Right now I've got two papers going out to a conference - deadline on Wednesday at 5:30 and I'm still writing the introduction for one piece.
