My vote has officially been counted.

Finally. It proves, once again, that nothing I vote for matters. How annoying.

So I really don't know you that well - just the meeting here and there so I can't say I know your views or opinions or even your thoughts but what I can say is that your opinions/votes always matter and even make a difference. Even when we look at grand totals and the end point is so off kilter it does not mean your opinion/vote didn't matter. Take heart in knowing that you have cast your vote in whatever it was and that you can speak your mind about it. Hell I never get my way on things but it will never make me say it didn't matter. Speak up about whatever makes you have a stance. I did and look where mine got me! I lost huge but I'm still thinking my opinion mattered in a big way. =o]

I was referring to my vote literally not counting. Boulder County didn't get their votes counted until the 8th. All the elections were called before BC was done counting. The last time we had a presidential election it took 7 days and the races were called without our county. It's sad and it's frustrating.

Will I continue to vote? Absolutely. But I'm still pissed.
