Facebook Observations

Anyone else get that, "who? Oh...yuck...YUCK" feeling for some of the names that FB suggest you friend because you went to school together?

Is this just a passing phase for all of us? Like LJ and before that, diaryland?

Is everyone on FB? I mean, SHEESH!

Oh, and for a few months there were the AIM profiles that people were changing around!

I dunno. I remember .plan being mainly for "snark". I had entire arguments with people over it, but we never said anything in person to each other.

Yup... there will be another one in the mix there after some time.

I actually don't like FB at all. I only joined to stalk my friend's wife because she had put up some weird stuff. That was like 2 years ago. I basically stopped using it unless people 'friended' me.

oh, it's the "new" sensation. Actually, I'm updating that more often than over here, because it takes way less effort. My one liners here would be pretty lame posts.

I find it works like twitter for the one-liners, but is less annoying.

Also, I removed my high school from my profile when I realized that I really don't want to see those people again.

Ha, luckily I liked almost all of the ppl I went to HS with, but yeah, a couple of people I've been like "bleah!". And an old friend/college roommmte of mine has tried friending me for the second time. Not interested! There were reasons why I cut her off years ago, I do not need to have give her crazy ass access to communicating with me!

Wow, didn't get the hint the first time? Could one of the reasons you cut her off was the STALKING?

Ha, no, one of the reasons I cut her off initially wasn't for stalking. It was for being annoying, unreliable, needy, prone to too much damn drama, and pretty nutso. I guess she tried again as someone who I'm still friends with from college added her on FB. I guess it gave her renewed hope. I almost feel bad, but I don't need emails or IMs from her.

I hate Facebook. There are few things I want to do less than have people I don't like know the minutiae of my life.

But what about the rest? People need to know that you are blowing your nose...
