[Mike peers over at the green haired girl from his seat by the water... Apparently he was talking to his reflection, so he just nods, lets out a breath and looks back at the water.]

[Ninian's too absorbed in her own thoughts to notice her little audience right away... But when she does, she nods at him in greeting and gives him a small, strained smile -- but remains silent. This is the best she can do without being rude. :c]

[ Firo hasn't seen much of his not!wife all day, so he's blissfully unaware of her distress when he comes home from work. ]

Hey, Ninian! How are ya?

[Noooooo Firo why are you so nice... She can't bring herself to brush him off, so Ninian smiles weakly at him in greeting.]

Hello... um... I've been better, I think. [BLUSH. Oh, great, she can't even tell little white lies anymore.] H-How are you...?

[ That wasn't the answer he expected and he looks at her with concern. Here he goes making everything worse. ]

What's wrong? Are you feelin' okay?

No. I think the town is up to something again... Everyone's been sharing secrets over the phone, and even though I've never done anything but lie to people... I just want to tell everyone that I'm a dragon.

[Ninian's eyes widen and she claps her hands over her mouth, shaking her head. ffffuuuu...]

[Well, crap. Ninian's beginning to think she should have locked herself in the bathroom. At least it's someone she trusts!]

G-Guy... The town is being strange again, I think. I'm just... trying not to get caught up in it...

I can understand. People are accidentally talking out of turn, I do believe.

Mm. It's affecting me, too... [Just. Fidgeting awkwardly.] I keep wanting to tell everyone about... what I am. It's very... I don't like it.

[Spectating quietly, but also attentively.

This vaguely reminds her of Tethys, but much more... calm? It's soothing to watch both of them, but Tethys had more energy and livelihood in her steps, while this woman conveyed a more serene and quiet air. Maybe it's just different styles, but they invoked the same invigorating feeling.

So she'll just stand by a tree, a sword strapped to her hip in plain view, but showing clearly no hostility. She simply didn't really have anything to say right now, and she didn't want to disturb.]

[Indeed, Ninian's style is more subdued than Marisa would be used to; that serenity is made even more obvious by the sad little song she hums to herself as she dances. Her steps are slow and careful, but she's just as passionate about it as a more... upbeat dancer would be.

Soon, the performance comes to a close, and she ends her dance with a bow -- out of habit, because she doesn't notice the other woman's presence until after the fact.]

...O-Oh! Um. Hello.

[...Hm. Wonder what Tethys would have thought of that. This actually makes her miss the quirky dancer for their mercenary band a bit, but she quickly brushes that aside.]

Hello. Where you practicing? [She was never good with small talk; she asks because she doesn't know.]

[Nod. This one is also bad at small talk. Clearly we shall be the very best of friends!!]

Mm, I was. It's... With everything going on, I haven't had much time for it recently.

[ Minako is out for a walk when she goes through the park and spots the girl when the dancing catches her eye. She doesn't go near to watch though, instead preferring to watch from a distance. ]

[Ninian is so caught up in her performance that she doesn't notice Minako's arrival until after she's finished. When she does see the other woman watching, she freezes and turns red, fidgeting awkwardly.]

A-Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there...

[dutying]

It's fine. I was the one intruding, after all.

[ She shakes her head lightly. ]

That was a good dance.

Oh, u-um... thank you very much. [She bows her head.] It's... what I do for a living, back home, so... I just wanted to practice some. It's very relaxing.
