Sounds as if you and your friends are learning quite a bit more Spanish than you think you are! Those are very clever exercises - of course, actually speaking a language is of more value than just memorizing verb tenses and such. I assume that you're using "puddings" to refer to desserts in general, not just pudín. And you'll have to be careful with tapas, because most of them have picturesque regional names that don't translate directly - imagine trying to explain "toad-in-the-hole" to a Spaniard :-)
