so I imagine you were rather glad to see the back of 2018!! I have followed some of your entries and did see some of the things you have been going through. Good to see that you are getting back to normal (abnormal?) again...and i love the idea of a purple cane with a tassel!! I am told that T'ai Chi is excellent for balance, muscle strengthening etc so glad you have found a way to do that. Modern technology can be amazing sometimes!!! i am not as creative as i would like to be - stuff like reading and playing games on the computer tends to distract me from the more effort requiring activities like art and gardening, but I did manage to paint a picture while on holiday and Paul and I are planning an afternoon at the local Art studios in Long Eaton tomorrow so that might encourage me to make more effort. The "Messy Easter" craft afternoon at the Church was great fun (I have never been the inventive type but can follow instructions) as I spent the time making Butterflies out of coffee filters and lolly sticks, plus felt tip pens for

I've been hoping that 2019 will be a much more promising year, but so far nothing outstandingly wonderful has happened yet. The one thing about Skype is that it fulfills one of the major prophecies of science fiction - video telephoning. I don't have a flying car, a jet pack, a robot housemaid, or my own rocket ship, but at least I can video-phone my friend no matter where he travels to (I haven't tried Skyping to anyone else; Skype charges money for calls to a phone number - and I think I'm connecting with him through an online multi-player-game server.
