Mini Rant
House drama is fucking awful. I could quite happily imagine throwing myself off a balcony to escape the horror at times. And it's not over until this Friday.
People just don't cooperate. They say, "You're the technical experts -- you know what you're doing" and that's that. They don't seem to appreciate that we need, and have been asking for, details on when and where they want particular lights. I've found one of the most annoying things has been the fact that half the people in charge seem to be on one huge ego-trip. They won't just shut up, listen, and help us to help them, and will continue to waste time, fob us off, and then never get back to us.
It's enough to tip me over the edge, especially when there are so many expectations riding on this, on us. I just hate letting people down and feeling as if I've not done my best. The perfectionist in me gets a little out of hand at times. :P
Anyway, I get the feeling I won't really get anything done until next week, when school is over and done with for another year. I may have another rant then as well, depending on how much of what I have to say is "interesting". :P Until then, I'm getting drunk on chocolate and lying low.
