So, our ICUP Team advanced to round 2. 695 teams entered the competition, 150 advanced to round 2. A total of 71 US teams entered the competition, 14 advanced. 2 of those 14 teams were from Mudd. I found this out by typing in all the names of teams from their leaderboard page into an Excel spreadsheet by handing. And then using the Excel IF ( Read more... )

OHHO, don't tell me ME1 is not worth replaying, it is SOOOO worth replaying. Lol, I immediately started a second replay after I played through the first time, although I'm also different from you in that I didn't particularly care what shippiness and events happened. Although if I had a 360 here and it didn't have my original ME1 file I would replay it but have female Shepard and the Asari have the sexy-times again. But I think that's the only part I really care about ( ... )

As I said, ME1 does totally have good replay value. But if I wanted to replay it, I'd probably want to be a renegade since I was a paragon the first time I played. But I'm not sure how much of the world carries over, so my replay would still probably be a paragon. I probably wouldn't change my skill set 'cause I think it's annoying to have to deal with skills 'cause then I have to deal with cool down and remembering that I have them and such. Thus I prefer just to keep my character with simple shooting skills. Mostly, I guess I'm not looking forward to doing all of the missions again. I'm fine with redoing all the dialogue and picking my responses again since I don't remember most of what I picked the first time anyway ( ... )

male!Shepard and Turian wasn't available in ME1. It might be in ME2, I don't know.

I hear none of the stuff except the main story/what level you are at (if you were level 60 you get random bonus stuff) matters in ME2, so you might not have to do the missions?

4 was a rhetorical question, yes. they are overwhelmingly cute. on Friday I saw Meg without Alice, and I was like WUT but then half a second later Alice popped out from behind her. Lol.

5. we haven't done much social stuff huh. maybe tuesday we'll do election bzns and talk about our orientation event (we are getting a queer issues forum!!) and pick a movie to watch or something, the tuesday after we'll watch that movie, and after that we can have a end-of-the-year dinner and a social. hmm.

6. thanks!

Yeah, that's what I gathered from wikipedia. I was also sad that apparently male!Shepard/m just wasn't an option. :-(

A certain amount of missions are required in order to beat the game though. I dunno. Maybe I'll just end up getting really involved and enthralled with the game again. It has been a while since I played the game, so I've probably forgotten a lot.

And their name squishes together so nicely! Meg is also kind of adorably evil. She keeps trying to surprise/scare Sayuri when they go to do their ICUP meetings.

I probably will not be there this week 'cause Z is taking our ICUP group out to dinner. :/
