Don't get non-prescription contact lenses. A prescription covers both vision correction and the shape of the contact. If the contact and your eye are different shapes, you can permanently damage your eye. It's also illegal to sell contacts without a prescription, and as a general rule, people selling things illegally are likely to cut other corners as well - they're not really legally liable for the safety of their illegal product.

"Normal" colored contacts (made by the same companies that make regular contacts, and generally available at a similar price) come in normal eye colors and purple. A few people do naturally have purple eyes, but it's extremely rare, and it's more of a lavender color than a deep or bright purple (it's a side-effect of albinism). If you get purple contacts, pretty much everyone will assume that's not your natural eye color.

Huh, I did not know prescription did contact shape in addition to vision correction. Clearly, I'll have to pay more attention to if contacts that I said were non-prescription to see if they are actually non-prescription or just non-vision correcting.

Purple might be interesting. Although admittedly, I the idea of silver has grown on me. We will see.
