And there may or may not be a Tim. He's gotten awfully tan, awfully quick, his legs showing under the indian shawl wrapped around him.

And for some reason, he's smoking a rather long pipe.

Draco stared at him as he walked over.

"Odd look for you, isn't it?"

Tim lifts his head at the words, a smile on his face. His eyes are a startling snake like yellow.

"Odder still for you. Kinda strange get up for a desert, huh?"

Draco glanced down at himself.

"It's normal for where I come from." He sniffed in a superior tone. It was now more of a comfort to him. He knew where he belonged, and he ruled his realm there.

He did notice the eyes though. Familiar and unnerving.

"Tim? What is the meaning of this?"

"Danny." Draco eyed the needles warily, and a sick feeling started in his stomach.

"Wait, what are you doing? Stop!" He held out his hand, and then remembered. He didn't have his wand.

Draco was getting more and more creeped by this.

"Something's wrong. Why are you doing this?"

Sara sits on a rock, running a swab over a piece of metal.

"The blood isn't yours."

Draco scoffed, "Of course it isn't mine. Do I look hurt?"

"Not all wounds are immediately apparent. This blood isn't yours, but belongs to someone close to you. 13 alleles in common."

Draco started forward, angrily stating, "That's impossible! You're lying!"

Not Mother and Father.

Failed the Dark Lord. Failed us. Failure...

Tom leans against a rock wall, blending in with the shadows. Behind him is a cave, its mouth open to a void of darkness within.

His wand is out. He is twirling it lazily, and he smiles a fierce smile upon seeing Draco.

"There you are. I've been waiting for you."

He laughs then, and it is a cold, high laugh.

Draco stiffened. It was Tom.

But Merlin... that laugh. He knew it well. His clothes seemed different now, and he was wearing a mask. Death Eater garments. He gave a glance at himself, and then peered back up nervously.

"Why?" He warily asked.

"You've been a most disappointing servant. I've been longing for a nice, long chat with you."

He laughs again, and the absolute lack of mirth is chilling.

"Come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly."

He wand flicks out, compelling Draco to come closer.

Draco hestitated. He knows! He knows I failed! But perhaps not, the job was completed. Only he and Snape know the truth. But the eyewitness. But they might not have stepped forward to say.

He then steeled himself, and then walked towards Tom/Voldemort.

A tall, hooded figure appears ahead. It may be discernible from the distance that it is a woman. If not, the voice should all but give her away.

"Draco?"

And perhaps his surroundings shifted, became more familiar. The Manor. Home. But even there was something wrong here.

Draco slowly approached, and breathed a single word.

"Mother."

Narcissa whirls around, eyes wide and tone nearing panicked.

"Draco? Where are you, darling?" She sounds almost frightened and alone in their overbearing mansion.

Draco immediately walked toward her, and replied, "I'm right here, Mother. Can't you see me?" There was a whiny note of exasperation creeping into his voice.

"I'm right here. Safe."
