Ooh, no better way to get pissed off. Just remember, there are some things you have the power to change, and others you don't. Concentrate on the ones you do, not the ones you don't. Also, to add joy to your life, hang out with Laura Yen and me on Friday, March 17? Are you available? It's when our spring breaks overlap, and we wanna see you.
that sounds great! i have a final that morning and another one saturday morning, but it would rock to have a break in between where i could collect myself.
i wasn't watching it...i was on Fark. they had an article on "something or other" on fox. and then i was intrigued by tag lines. i shouldn't let the tag lines get me. damn tag lines.....
Well, I fully support your interest in textiles as a way to get a seat at the political table. And I'm serious. All things considered, the less fortunate are only permitted to sell raw goods on the global market, and finished products are marketed by first world countries. This is really a way to keep third world countries from overtaking first world countries, because no matter which way you look at it, finished products rake in more cash than raw goods ever will. So, no matter which area you focus on - the marketing aspects of textiles, or the scientific production of them - you will have the knowhow to assist people less fortunate than us and make a stand. Sorry - getting excited and preachy. If you really feel this way, though, take care; most of the time, people just become a part of the machine... o.O
