Just yesterday, I managed to lose my Totoro mobile phone accessory, the one Y gave to me as a souvenir from Japan several months ago. I loved that accessory but I didn't realise it had fallen off till I was waiting at the bus stop. I figured there was no point trying to retrace my steps back to the supermarket and bakery since the bus was due soon. But it's annoying that I lost it!
But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Last Thursday (9 days ago) I lost the one of my glasses' lenses on the night of the law ball. Even though I didn't wear my glasses, I felt that I should bring them along 'just in case', and only on the car trip back home did I realise that one of the lenses had popped out. Since I'm wearing a pair of (unflattering) half-rimmed glasses, the lenses have popped out before, but I didn't expect this to happen :( At the moment, I'm using a spare lens from my former prescription - the protective coating on those lenses are scratched since I started fanatically cleaning my glasses with whatever material was at hand - so now I look like a doofus. I meant to call up the function hall but kept forgetting. Is it even worth it now? Meh
And finally, lost my USB. Again. I had a 2GB USB which I carried around with me everywhere for about 2 and a bit years, and lost that. So Mum bought me 2 more, reasoning that it was better than having a 4GB one in case I should lose them again. And whaddaya know, I lost one of them within a week or so, and now I've also lost the second one (which was falling apart anyway because I was manhandling it).
WHHHHYYYY?
On another note, I'm finally on my uni break of ONE WEEK, in which time I need to do 10 weeks x 4 subjects worth of study since I've slacked off so much during this semester. Which is going to be impossible only because it's me. Moi, who lacks self-discipline and control and motivation, and hasn't really figured out how to study ever since leaving high school.
