First person shooters haven't really evolved much over the past decade and a half. Yeah, they've added more tweaks, like cover, sprinting, stealth, and the unnecessary infection of quick-time events, but ever since Quake entered our lives in the latter half of the 90s, anyone playing an FPS today could easily hop in and play any of those games

Got it on my gaming PC running with an overclocked Nvidia 680, and I can confirm that even with the settings cranked right up (so in theory it's visually better than the PS4 version) that these flat textures are still there. The worst and most noticeable place for them is the resistance base. Also the FOV slider on the PC version hardly does shit all which is rather sad, and I can't confirm if it was running in excess of 60fps (though it felt like it).
Oh and it's a large 40GB+ download via steam. I'm a bit reluctant to download it again until we get fibre optic internet installed in our area.

It's a good looking game still for the most part, but I expect better from the PC version considering that PC rigs have been doing stuff that looks better than the PS4 can handle for at least two years now! More so if it's a stinking 40GB download.
