There's something to be said about video games based on movie licenses. They generally suck. It's no mystery. Any gamer can come to that conclusion, and why shouldn't they? About 95% of them are quick cash-ins, specifically marketed to folks who simply don't know any better.

Honestly, I would if I hadn't already watched it back when it was streamed live on Twitch a few weeks back. :/

But am I excited as hell for Silent Hills? YES YES YES!!

I'm not going to do shot-by-shot comparisons like every other reviewer complained about when looking at the 2011 E3 footage. That's old news, and I'm sure everyone's tired of that. How about the fact that there are parts of this that look worse than a PS2 game?Note that I was one of the poor saps that got this sucker on launch day. Oh boy you DIDN'T get the worst of it. I remember entering the weapons range right at the start, and noticing all the textures that where a throwback to what games looked like back at the end of the 90's or early 00's. Calling them sub par with a PS2 is being generous! I will note that I played the PC version and apparently over the coming months Gearbox did fix the graphics to coincide with the DLC, but at that time nobody cared as the damage was done ( ... )
