It most certainly is not an exception! We don't see so many airships in Erealia, so I'm always interested to learn about different ones. I'm on a journey after all, it would be a waste of time if I was just a shut-in that didn't learn anything.
She must have such a history too! She's a military vessel, right?
That's a good attitude to have, miss. There's far too many incurious people in this world, with no interest in anything around them.
And she's not just a military vessel; she's the flagship of one of our more esteemed admirals. To be honest, I'm surprised you haven't heard more about it.
Of course~ Professor Gammel said just that too. Curiosity is the first step to knowledge which is the next step to understanding.
Ah, then you must all be very skilled! How classy and romantic, just like those moving pictures I saw~ It's amazing! Are there any books about the Victoria II's military history? Or anyway I can learn first hand about it? I'm not sure how long we're going to be in port here, but I'd love to learn as much as I can. I've never been to Ivona before.
They do look a bit similar, don't they? I doubt it's a coincidence but... I don't want to point fingers. That picture is years old, and Dr. Fawkes probably doesn't want to hear about it either.
I wonder what the captain thinks... we should definitely talk to him.
Right. Whatever happened - if it happened - is in the past. I trust Dr. Fawkes.
If the government of Ivona is looking for a member of our crew, I think that the captain has a right to know. But... you don't think we'll get Dr. Fawkes in trouble by telling the captain about this, do you?
[Private to Jen] I think it might be best if we talk to Doctor Fawkes first and, if he really is this Mr. Mustang, he come clean to the Captain himself. I'm obviously not the only one who's seen these posters, and it's not like the Captain is blind.
If it's a case of mistaken identity, fine. But I think there'll be more trouble if the Captain finds out without anyone saying anything.
Glad to see you had a good time at the festival! It usually can be pretty crazy.
[Private to Lillet] As one strategist to another, I can tell you the Victoria II is the best ship the Ivnona military's got, yet it has the worst reputation.
The captian I always heard was an ass, and doesn't hesitate on punishment. Most of the crew are assigned there, no one really chooses to serve on the Victoria. Bright side if you make it through, you immediately have respect in the military, and most likely a promotion.
And it's good to be curious, but be sure not to ever show all your cards.[/Private]
[Private to Carol] Mm, I already know this much. But you'd be surprised how much you can learn by simply playing dumb.
I don't think it'll be a problem but if we ever have to go up against a ship like the Victoria II or the Victoria II herself, I want to know as much about it as possible.
[Private to Lillet]Interesting information gathering strategy.
If we ever did have a battle with a ship like the Victoria, the main thing I worry about is their firepower. But it seems our crew will more than likely have more...indiviual power. [/Private]
[Private to Carol] You'd be surprised how well it works~
Sheer brute force isn't enough to take down the Winding Way, but that ship also has excellent defenses. Not to mention, considering Von Karma's reputation, the crew is definitely top-notch.
It's slow, so the strengths we'd have to play to are our speed and maneuverability. I don't want anyone to have to resort to individual power unless we're boarded. [/Private]

Here, I think I have some fruit cake left over. Would you like it?
[OOC: Just a note, Lillet is on to Kir, but she's going to spoil him rotten anyway because she loves cute things >D]
