I had planned on attending the Knoxville Anime Con with my son and brother to see Tara Strong. All three of us are huge MLP fans

This is totally random as I'm never on LJ much anymore, but I saw this on a news blog and came and checked your journal to see if it was your son because the names clicked in my head! The internet is a small place!
