[ When Mikado finally comes to, he realizes that he's no longer in that uncomfortable Malnosso cell, but rather sprawled out even more uncomfortably in the snow. It takes a few moments for it to register that he's finally out and in the familiar scenery of the town square

[Eventually, there's a crunch of footsteps in the snow.]

My name is Mr. Kennedy. I'm going to put some blankets over you and pick you up. Is that all right?

[ Well, it's not Masaomi but it sounds like a doctor! He looks up at the guy and just nods slowly. ]

[noprevaricating]

[Archie places the blankets over him, tucking them around him and around his feet, and slowly picks him up. Seeing as how he has no special super strength, he has some difficulty, but is eventually successful. When he speaks, it's a little strained.]

Tell me where you need to go.

[ pff, Mikado weighs a whopping 110 pounds. He should have absolutely no problem |D But here, he just shakes his head. ]

I... Masaomi, my friend is coming. He, he might be worried if I'm not here. C-Can we stay until he comes?

[Screw any sort of reply, Masaomi is there and he's going to be glaring suspiciously bordering on obsessively at anyone else who comes to help. No, really. Mikado's back- and he's hurt and he's cold and.

[And Frey actually takes time to respond, because Kida seems to be on his way and.... without anything to warm him up.] We'll be there soon, Mikado.

[And Frey will grab a bundle of blankets, a jacket, and rush off out the door after Kida.]

[ This is some sort of huge sigh of relief, here. Thank god a familiar voice!

When he finally sees Masaomi he tries to smile over at his direction. ]

Masao...

[ ...that look, he's seen that look once before. Forcing that smile some more just so Masaomi doesn't look so much like that. ]

this can totally come after he's been collected and warmed up, if you prefer!

[ her usually upbeat voice is drowned out with concern. ]

Yeah, that's fine!

Ah! Anne-sa... Anne, right? Yes, it's me...

[ He's trying really hard to sound cheerful. It's not working. ]

Did someone come to help you? You sounded...you sounded as though you could use it.

Oh, yes, I'm fine now! I'm in my room now, actually. Masaomi and the others came to help me.

[So eventually, they all got Mikado home and to his bed. Frey was no doubt out to get food which left... Masaomi in the uncomfortable position of sharing a room with his friend. His friend that he failed. He seems to shrink at the reality of that- he doesn't want to face Mikado's probable scorn. Thus he's just... lurking here, but not saying anything. His discomfort is palpable]

[ And Mikado sure feels it. Since Celty and Frey are no longer around his focus is entirely on Masaomi, and once again that expression gets his full attention and it's no lie that feeling of worry wells up inside of him. It's all his fault that because he got kidnapped, Masaomi ended up like this, and he feels terrible about it.

...But the one thing that bothers him the most is that yellow scarf wrapped around his neck. ]

...Masaomi.

Mm? [NO HE WANTS TO FLEE BUT. Okay... side glance at Mikado...]

[ He stays silent for a little bit. He knows he needs to talk to him, but...
