Kookaburras are mean little things, and they laugh at you while they're being mean! -_-

They do and what a laugh! Mind you, little isn't quite how I'd describe the ones we get around here - they're the big variety!
Maddy's scratch is nothing. The tale she gets to tell is far more exciting :)

yikes! that reminds me of when i lived in hawaii. we had weird things showing up in class often. i'm glad no one was seriously hurt though.

I've heard of all manner of creatures coming into a classroom uninvited, but a kookaburra is a first! They're all fine :)

Neither had I. I just hope it doesn't ever happen again, because a big bird like that panicking in a confined space will eventually lead to someone being seriously hurt.
