After watching Smallville's take on the Legion of Superheroes (overall, good, supplemented by Batshit Crazy Cholie Sullivan), I recalled an idea I had - how I'd envision the legion by making each character very archetypical at their core. Some ideas I had:

Seriously, I'm not sure steampunk, but I want the victorian - though I rather imagine the Coulons in this setting would have a bit of elegance to their technology, if only of course to set the proper tone and so forth. They are superior and thus must be cultured!

You can have both. But Braniac 5 would like to remind you that publicly staring at his butt (though indeed a nice butt as Coulons believe in good physical health as it supports their superior minds) is impolite when carried beyond a few glances and, at best, a mild flirtatious comment.
