Why do I do this to myself?

It seems that no matter what I do, no matter what I try, I can't get her off of my mind. This is kinda killing me. Last night I had two dreams. In one, I nervously asked her out on a date and she agreed, we had an amazing time and things worked out. In the other, she told me that she'd found someone else, and I was left alone.
