AHHH ISOLATION!! EVERYONE IS ISOLATED!!! (NOTICE how I use ALL capital letters for EFFECT, just like the narrator [NOT JANE] in "YELLOW WALLPAPER").
P.S. I made the mistake of referring to the narrator as Jane, but apparently that is not her name. Mrs. wife of doctor John was nameless leaving me curious as to where I got the name. Was there even a Jane in the story? Man, it was really creepy, especially since I read it at 2:00 am.
^check out my stream of conciousness...OH MY LORD, ENGLISH is EVERYWHERE!
You did say isolation in this entry, right? LOL! I'm not crazy, but Darl is. Wait, Darl was...I think...Man, now I'm confusing myself. I need to stop.
She says the name Jane at the very end of the story, and places I looked online thought that Jane was the name of the character and she was talking in third person, but I just thought that Jane was another name for the Jennie character (who was a housekeeper? the husband's sister?)
I don't know, I didn't think the story was too bad (until the end, that was nuts), and the capitalization made sense to me cause that's what I do on livejournal...when I don't use *stars* lol. I was hoping for a really cool connection between the capitalized words, though.
And Darl was definitely crazy. So was the narrator in YW. So is Schurtz. It happens. :)
