Winter is finally closing in and I'm thankful. Anytime I can trade blistering, sweltering heat for the biting cold of freezing temps is okay with me.

This year has brought many changes for me and while some are okay, some leave me wondering about what the future holds.

Thanks, sweets. This is nothing but a speed bump for us. We'll persevere. We always do.

I guess my sporadic posting is more cathartic, than anything. Sending good juju to you and yours, too.

wow. i'm really sorry to hear that about your dad.

and jason just has horrible luck. he's always in and out of the hospital. hospitals suck. surgeries suck.

it sounds like you need a ton of margaritas. i just wish i had time to go up to jasper or meet you in b'ham to hang out. i hate not having time to do anything.

*hugs* i think about you all the time.

I do need a ton of margaritas! Triples, actually. hehe.

As for Jason, since his surgery, he's been doing better. THe doctor is actually letting him go back to work light duty, four weeks early, so our financial situation should straighten up in a couple of weeks.

I hope you and Davy are doing well and hopefully we can drive down and see you before the holidays hit.

Damn. Talk about a lot of stuff hitting you at once!
I'm sorry to hear about your dad. It's hard enough to see a parent's health decline, but to wonder if maybe he could be doing better than he's letting on doesn't help.
I hope Jason gets up and going again soon.
Take care of yourself. I've been thinking of you. You've got a lot going right now, too much. Hopefully it will ease up soon!

I do, but we're making it. Jason is doing more and more everyday and I'm thankful for it.

Much love to you and the boys.
