Wow. This issue is really wearing me out, hahaha. My office works quite a lot in that department, so hmmmm yeah. :p (PS, surprised you didn't get Fr Bernas to talk? Hehe. I think he's written quite a bit on the topic. (Also, haha, dapat sumama ka sakin sa Davao if you were interested in the topic.)

Okay, sorry, that was random. I think I'm on work over-drive.

Next time you're going to Davao or anywhere else to do that kind of stuff, do let me know. :) I would have loved to go with you.

I think that the Ateneo Professional Schools got Fr Bernas and Atty Candelaria to give a talk on the MOA. It was scheduled on the same day, 6:00 p.m. at Rockwell. Besides, my contact at Sociology-Anthropology (my former professor, Dr Zialcita) specifically wanted Fr Intengan to give this talk, given Fr Intengan's extensive involvement with the MNLF during the Marcos years, his work with the Bishops Ulama thing, and his involvement in public affairs and security issues. Fr Intengan *did* discuss Fr Bernas' legal opinion on the topic.

Your work must be pretty exciting. :)

Oops. Looks like I missed out answering your reply. :|

Well, I think the heat's gone off on the MoA issue. It's a dead fish for the next few months, until the MILF decide to retaliate somewhere closer to home. :( *shudder*

Also, I think Fr. Intengan has a slightl "radical" rep among the MoA-insiders (or whatever u wanna call them)? I'm not really sure, as well I've never really met the guy. I dunno, the Bishops-Ulama is struggling to keep neutral, I think, based on what Arch. Capalla was yapping about in Davao (not to mention being extra careful with words). I think we were supposed to have invited Fr. Bernas, but well...hahaha. I think he's rather sought after and his opinion on the constitutionality of the MoA has been used as the official stance of the government. :|

Okay I stop now. :P My work's not that exciting, it's actually mostly administrative. Just interesting....only if you take the time to listen and be interested. :p
