So anywho, like I mentioned earlier, this summer I worked at an art camp, helping kids to paint and draw and sculpt and such. So when my hands were free, I sorta made some little sculptures of my own. They're not much, and I didn't have time to put most of them in the kiln, but I happen to like them. Anyone want to help me think up names?
This is the fist one I made. He's a little golem-ish fellow.
This is a sorta minotaur-eque thing. I was playing Shadow of The Colossus at the time, and you can kinda tell. This one also was one of the few who went into the kiln, but it didn't fire all that well. It also has a spiky tail, on request of one of the kids, but the spiked ball at the end fell off. Tis very sad.
As for this guy, I'm not quite sure what sort of animal he's supposed to be. I was still in Shadow of the Colossus sort of mood though, as you can see. This is the one that not only went in the kiln, but also came out really nicely. Only problem is that it makes it a little tough to photograph, since it's all shiny.
This is a sort of bull-esque looking guy, only a bit weird made looking. In a good sort of way, of course.
This is the last one. He's a protoceratops. I had felt like making a dinosaur, so I did. Note that the glaze I used on him and the previous one isn't actually white. It's supposed to be clear, but they haven't been fired, which is why it looks that way.
Whacha think?
