Less than a month to vacation!

Diamond apparently canceled my order for the Epic Mickey comic.
...so I promptly went over to Amazon and placed a new order for it, as well as paid the extra for shipping to get it to arrive on time. You cannot deny me this, Diamond! Not with a Disney vacation looming on the horizon!

...I'm not obsessed, you're obsessed!

...yeah!

Since I am out of the comic book loop I had no idea they have a comic for Epic Mickey coming out! The game is awesome...you'll have to let me know how the comic is!

I most definitely will!
If it's the comic I'm thinking of, it should be the "Tales of the Wasteland" and will be a prequel telling stories of what life in the wasteland was like before Mickey arrived. They initally only released it as an app for smart phones and since I don't have one, I couldn't get it. I'm so glad we're getting a print copy! SQUEE! New content!

...now I want a sequel in Disney World to expand on the Disney Land setting. XD

Got a couple questions for you regarding your trip. One- are you staying on Disney property (i.e. one of their resorts) and two, do you have the meal plan? Both are well worth the value. I swear getting the latter was the best thing we ever did. Ate at some absolutely killer restaurants. I'd go back to any of them, but my favorites were probably Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge (but that one's a Signature, and I don't know if you want to take that route, even if it's fabulous), the Yak and Yeti in the Animal Kingdom, and probably Coral Reef in the Seas at Epcot. I an link you to menus of any and all restaurants I ate at, so you can check them out. :) Oh, be sure to eat at Tony's Town Square when you're in the Magic Kingdom. Very very tasty. Also, at Epcot, you'll want to have lunch in the food court at the Land- I swear this was restaurant-level counter service fare! Also, the bakery in France in the World Showcase is out of this world. Loved that one, too. Do you see me starting to geek out here? Why yes you do! ( ... )

Haha! Well, it's a start. ;D

We don't usually go for the meal plan just because we end up doing a lot of eating outside of it (like using my Disney points to pay for meals or going to special places that it doesn't cover) but it's a really rad program! Getting to just enjoy ALL the awesome food they have that easily is the best of all possible worlds! XD

I'll have to keep your recommends in mind for the restaurants we haven't hit yet when we go. The nice this is it's really hard to find BAD food at Disney! :D Even their fast food is phenomenal!

This is a nice start, but I'm still looking forward to hearing all about your trip! You only get to go for the first time once, so I want to relive that moment vicariously. XD

Oh, I know- I didn't have a single bad meal the entire time I was there! Far from it. I found there to be no problem with following said meal plan, what with all the options. The trick might be to use the basic one, like we got, because if you want Signature and other "special" things, it uses two table-service credits- this basically frees you up to do whatever you want for that extra evening. We did that, and for our non-plan night we ate at T-Rex in Downtown Disney, and loved it. I highly recommend you check it out, if you like dinosaurs at all. :) I still need to finish my pictures, but once I can make a gallery (or galleries plural; I took so many that I split it all into folders for each park, resorts, and extra stuff that was none of the above), then I can rave to my heart's content, once I have illustrations. Hee hee, right now I have a great shot of "Spaceship Earth" at night as my desktop wallpaper. :)
