I just would like to thank you for that link to the Take Back Halloween site. I would LOVE to have the Queen Victoria or the Ada Lovelace one....

...I also said that I would love to play amnesia...once I can get my copy to play on my computer...

..and I would also like to thank you for the very nice postcard you sent me. Anything dealing with the Haunted Mansion is always appreciated!

Hooray! You recieved the post card! :D

Some of the costumes on that site are just plain gorgeous, and such great ideas too! Some of them I wouldn't have thought of. It's kind of fun just looking through them.

Maaaaan, though, those troubles with Amnesia you're having are the worst! I hate having a game that doesn't work on my computer...and I've had a few. -_-...I hope you get it working soon!
I want to buy Amnesia myself. Though if i do, I'll never play it. haha! I just feel like I owe it to the creators given how much I've enjoyed their game. XD

Happy Halloween to you too! :) Must check out that Doom Buggies site. Seeing as I love the Haunted Mansion and all.... And I love that "Take Back Halloween" site. I've noticed the very same proliferation, and I like seeing such a creative response to it. This site makes me want to dress up as quirky things, like a Suffragette or a Bluestocking or something. Or Ada Lovelace, because she's Byron's daughter. Yes, I am a literary geek, and proud of it! :)

Ada Lovelace needs more love...and I'm happy to see that she's getting it! She was an amazing lady! :D I think they need to add Artemisia Gentileschi to their catalogue, because a lady rennaisance painter is awesome!

Be warned on the Doom Buggy site, though, it'll suck you in. XD

I approve the arrival of Renaissance individuals in general. Maybe you should write in and suggest her! I'd suggest Eleanor of Aquitaine, but unfortunately no one really knows for sure what she looked like, as no one did an accurate period portrait, ever. Oddly enough. Shame, that.... However, I shall happily give Ada Lovelace more love, because I agree that she was fantastic. Even outside her literary parentage. :) And as for sites sucking you in, well, I have experience with TV Tropes. Anything else might pale in comparison. Besides, it's fun to be sucked in by something I love!
