We move from licensed works last time to full on adaptations today as we take a look at a comic version of the amazing, imaginative world of Oz.

I recall getting more out of the non-Dorothy Oz books as a kid, myself, so I don't see any problem with favoring Marvelous Land over the others...

Looking forward to the Scrooge review!

It's weird to me mostly because I like Dorothy well enough, so it's not the character herself that makes me like the one non-Dorothy book more. Ah well, they're all good, so it's all good, right? haha!

YES, YOU DO!

It is absolutely true that the main reason to get these books in the art. I don't think the writing has anything to offer that the books themselves can't do better, but man-oh-man is Skottie Young's art amazing. For a more visual person, like myself, it just paints such a perfect image of this world and its characters. They're totally worth it just for that.

I never read past "Wicked" myself, something about the writing just didn't appeal to me. Were the other books worth it? I may have to delve back into it if so.

Also, I am totally excited for "Oz the Great and Powerful". :D
