So when I do, it's usually short and to the point.
So, in chronological order:
1. I got a puppy.
2. Yesterday I found out I am pregnant.

The puppy I was expecting to get. The pregnancy... I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I feel. It isn't a bad thing... but certainly not the best timing.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm not unhappy about being pregnant, just wishing timing was a little better. I am excited, really really scared though.

As for the pregnancy, timing is often an issue. I'm sorry it had to be that way for you. At the same time, you're pregnant! Congratulations! I be happy for you.
