Oh, the baby is here!! Poor Jim. I'll bet he claims the whole thing lasted hours. Days, even! Loved Spock's log, telling of the event and how he wanted to meditate on his mother's memory. Bless.

All I had was Rebecca's write up of Ella Mae sending a message to Pike, I had no idea if she wanted pulled pork, or ribs or just a bottle of sauce. So when she came on IM I asked (after I'd made the graphic) and she said "ribs"... I find it moderately scary that we share a brain cell...

Since the beginning I always wanted to have Jim give birth 2 months early in a cave. You know... Jim always has to do things in the dramatic. I'm very glad the Spock POV worked so well! Rebecca did a brilliant job!

Poor Jim, never can do things the easy way. Glad to see Ella Mae charming Pike. And Spock figuring out that, even given the disaster, the Vulcan way is not always the best way.
Chekov worrying about Sulu's health... It's all very sweet.

I love this story I just read everything you've done so far straight through. The characters are great and the format is really fun to read. I love the little touches like pictures on the desk beside the consoles. I hope to see many future chapters! Keep up the good work.
