Just because "privacy" isn't listed in the bill of rights, doesn't mean the government should have a right to be listening in on our phone calls. Granted, I don't typically hav emuch of importance to say on the phone; however, I wouldn't want them listening in on me nonetheless.

I gotta agree with Melissa. Just because right of privacy isn't in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights, doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. Now, having said that, I really don't care too much about this issue. There are much more important things we should be worrying about as a nation. Gay rights, immigration, stem cell research, troop deployment, abortions, etc...

I think you are right in that there are bigger fish to fry. My thing is I could care less about the government ease dropping on calls and I'm sick and tired of people bitching about rights they don't have. That is my real problem. The fact that the American populace does not know what is actually written in the Bill of Rights. Flaming idiots. I think there should be laws to protect privacy but since there aren't stop bitching. lol... and the other subjects you mentioned... wow
