It's like...
[lj-cut text="PIX!!!"]picture codes[/lj-cut]

except you replace [ and ] with < and >. and instead of PIX!!! you put whatever you want the link to say, that's just an example. and you put the opening tag and the closing tag around the picture codes or whatever else you want to be under the cut.
