Grandpa is in the hospital. We went to see him yesterday and today. The nurses have been regularly checking on him, taking his sugar, stuff like that. Last night he was hallucinating a little - we think because of the meds - and he was thinking he was home at times, and other times he thought there were paintings on the walls and that stuff was ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry, that's got to be hard. I've been through the awful wait of my grandmother in the hospital, but I'm states away and nowhere near as close in relationship. Tell him and your grandmother both that all our thoughts and best hopes are with you (Bridgie's will be when I tell her, she's not home right now). I hope whatever's wrong is something they can get stabilized and get him back on his feet and home quick.

Thanks. I will, and right now we're confident that he'll get better. He's already grumbling about wanting to go home, so we figure that he'll be okay. Still, it's worrying.
