"When Sorrows Come" was really good. It's the newest in the October Daye series. An assassination attempt interrupts Toby's wedding week so she has to solve that before she can get married. (Which is why I picked it for Crime Thriller.) Lots of hi-jinks ensue.

"Touch the Dark" is the first book in the Cassie Palmer series. Cassie is a psychic on the run from the vampire who kept her in his service for most of her life. Another vampire helps to save her from his goons and it turns out there's a lot more going on than she realized. She can also see and interact with ghosts. shanachie_quill introduced me to the series as it's one of her favorites. I already bought the next book but haven't read it yet because I was working on filling this bingo card. It did take me a bit to get into the book, but that was more because I was reading it in bed and kept falling asleep because I was tired, not because of the content. I read this through my Kindle app ( ... )

afterwards I realized the October Daye story is well along in a series.

I don't know either series though so cool.

I am not much on short stories but I did just finish listening to trigger warnings and yes Neil does a great job narrating his work

I own Trigger Warnings but haven't read it yet. I have that as a paperback book. I'm not usually one for short stories either.
