lipstick at school

According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington recently was faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That... is... AWESOME. MAN I wish teachers could get away with that here. That is sheer genius, and I hope that the principal and janitor get educators of the year awards of some sort.

My prinicpal did something like that a long time ago... he found lipstick prints on the wall, and decided that action should be taken. So he announced that whomever was kissing the walls to report to the nurses office. He mentioned that the school was old, and so was the paint, and there was a serious possibility that there was lead in the paint, so the student engaging in public displays of passion with the building absolutely needed to get her blood lead levels checked to see if she got lead poisoning.
Now, I don't know if there was lead in the walls or not. I don't know if the student fell for such an obvious trap. But never again did I see any lipstick prints on the walls.
Heh, I suppose teachers have their ways of teaching their students one thing or another.
