it's almost 4:00 am as i'm starting to write this. and i'm thinking to myself, "i need to study, i shouldn't be wasting time online." but... i'm here now, so there's no point in stopping now

i think about that too. toronto is a putrid hell hole, but i think it's the struggle that makes you who you are. if i went to mac, i mean sure my GPA would have been higher but i don't think i would have truly learned anything or found the passion i was looking for. ever since last semester, i've been inspired to work hard and its paid off. i'm doing fairly well, i have a good lab position and i know who i am and what i want out of life.
i guess i never would have realized had i not moved away. sure toronto is huge, the amount of students in each class is staggering, but i've really come into my own element.
the best part of it is that i'm doing it for my self, not my parents, not my peers, just for myself. it's the best feeling in the world.
but i wish you the best of luck on your exams and your studies. and keep in touch, biotch.
