If I want simple satisfaction that will trick my brain into thinking I've accomplished something, is it worth it to buy a used copy of Spore, or am I better off installing Diablo II and/or Dungeon Master on my laptop next time I'm at my parents' house ( Read more... )

I found spore got really boring really fast, and Diablo II is mostly fun if you're having LAN games with people in the same room. Never played DM before.

If you aren't adverse to piracy, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DLXH2QB5 . Plants vs Zombies. One player, ridiculously silly. Grow your lawn and fend off the zombie apocalypse! Seriously, the guys on popcap were on crack when they made this.

Oh, I know that I enjoy playing Diablo II by myself. But yeah, what you say about Spore sounds about right given the reviews that I've read.

I honestly, having heard reviews, have no interest in Spore the game but would die for the creature creator. Damn that this silly macbook is MAYBE 6 months too old to have had the slightly newer Intel graphics chip that will play the game, vs the one I do have that wont.
