it's 6.95 unless you get tips or work on commission. your boss can either pay you less that 6.95 with untaxed tips or 6.95 but tax your tips.

i do payroll at my work so yeah that;'s how i know.

Yeah I guess I get payed "under the table". Like, I get an $8 check and the rest is in cash so no taxes are taken out of the money I am earning including tips. See, good thing you are telling me this cause I probably would have gone in there bitching about how I should be making more money and I would look like a complete idiot. lol.
