**Spoilers** Batman and Robin # 8 and 9 scans
Spoilers for Batman and Robin # 8 and 9. Seriously. If you plan on reading it in the future don’t read this. I give away the whole darn story line because none of my friends are willing to listen to me talk about this anymore. ONWARD!
I really hope the cut worked...
Because Dick is genius, he decides to put Bruce’s body in a Lazarus Pit to try and resurrect him. I will save pointing out his hypocrisy for later.
That is a pretty badass smirk Zombie!Bruce has got going there. Okay, as for Darkseid, it seems he created a copy of Bruce and that is the body that Superman found. A perfect match to a ‘t’. Alright, I see what they are doing here…. So the body that Dick brought back to life if a copy.
On a side note, what is with DC and zombies lately?
Of course Dick doesn’t know this and just thinks that the Pit has made Bruce crazy. So they fight him trying to calm him.
...until Dick realizes something is wrong.
But, Zombie!Batman gets away and Batwoman is crushed by falling rocks. She is on the brink of death when she comes up with a plan to have Dick ‘kill’ her with overdose morphine and resurrect in the Pit. Which is really freakin’ brave… and it works. But while all this is happening Zombie!Batman heads home.
Does it bother anyone else that he calls Alfred, ‘Pennyworth’? I don’t know, it could just be me.
Okay, I don’t even like the kid, but, *ouch* man. That gotcha hurt. There is nothing a kid likes to here more than the fact that he was a mistake. >.<
Then Dick arrives just in time to save Damian and Alfred. The Zombie!Batman basically falls apart from what I am assuming is clone/resurrections issues.
Oh, Alfred pointed it out for me. Helloooo double standards. Whatever. Of course Tim was right Dick. What did you expect?
