Tino as I have said before and will say again-- I am sorry but few people care about South American Politics, esp in one that economy has been discribed as a 'donkey sitting on a gold mine'. Okay, so I come downstairs and the first question out of mom's mouth is "So does that book you're reading inspire you to have pre-marital sex, or share a bed with a boy?" To which my reaction was to look at her as if she were crazy. She then explained to me that you had written an entire blog about the Twilight series, as I'm ironically reading the fourth book. Alright look, I know a lot of educated, high standard readers dislike Twilight because it's incredibly cheesy, unreal, and I'll admit in this current book, sometimes stupid. But not everything a person reads is for them to live out, or be like the characters. Not everything has to be influential and life changing. Yes, yes I know, the average tweenie is going to want an Edward of their own...but I should hope for their sake and the world's that they know it'll never happen. So they want unreal, impossible love? Isn't cultivating unrealistic expectations a stupid behavior to begin with? Isn't desiring that kind of love a sort o ridiculous escapism?
