Well you should see DW in french, it's terrible! The girl who dubbed Donna has a horrible voice, it's bad, really bad...

And they do change the dialogues! I remember an episode of CSI where Grissom called Sara 'honey', it wasn't in the french version! When I got my DVD and watched it in english I almost died!

And the worst , I think is with the sitcoms. Friends is kind of allright, but Seinfeld, the Office and Scrubs are just bad!

They do change the dialogue a bit when they think it's a bit inappropriate. It's also the reason why here they aired the episodes of some TV shows in the disorder...They often aired 2 or 3 episodes of a TV shows by night but not in the right order. Apparently, some episode are too violent to air at 9.00 pm...People aren't happy with that, every week there are complains in our Tv guides...

So yeah, vive la France!

Doctor Who in french...sounds...um...interesting. I would only watch it to see what lines they screwed up. Voice acting is harder than it looks! Those actors have to portray the character as it is and put some emotion in the voices! Not sound like robots. I still think that Ianto's voice is the worst. My poor poor welsh Ianto ( ... )

NCIS, CSI and House are actually quite good in french. I mean, of course, they change dialogues and that sucks, but the people who dub it are great! That's probably because whose a 'big' TV shows, so they can afford the best people to dub them.

Now DW is bad, especially Donna's voice. The person who dubbed her had an horrible voice!

Dubs always sound weird. If I stumble across one on tv, I immediately change the channel. They freak me out. And the dubs into Spanish are always done by the same people. My whole life I've been hearing the same voices over and over in all sorts of unrelated things. And none of them can even do them properly, either. I play with the idea that they might be robots or something because they don't sound like human voices anymore.

A lot of dubs are horrible, especially in anime. English not that bad because some of the VAs are good, but in french it is horrible. Everytime I see Naruto in french I die a little inside.

Sadly, I have never had the pleasure to watch a show dubbed in Spanish. Voice actors should get better, it is harder than it looks!

When I was little I remember this soap opera that was dubbed in Russian but I loved it. All I remember now is that the main character name was Maria Lopez, so I think it was a spanish soap opera if I go by the name. XD
