Question for you peoples

What (meta)chat clients do you reccomend? I'm currently using Trillian Pro 3 (my subscription just ran out in September, so I'm not hesitant about switching), and I'm looking for advice on what else to use.

I use Gaim, which is an open-source clone of Trillian. I quite like it and being open-sourced it's free, and works rather well. It even has more chat platform options by default than Trillian too, although I only use the big four myself. :)
