A good argument indeed! It's pretty simple, but it's good to have it put right in front of me to think of.

Actually, he could make his argument even more convincing pretty easily.
About "false" and "Did make action"
When organisation do indeed take action to reduce Green-Houses gas, even in the event that Green-house gases don't affect global warning, there are benefits that can easily overthrow the "cost" "Global depression":
1) Effect of Human heatlh. Ever notice this thing they call smug? CO2 emission affect this particular phenomenon around the world.
2)"Global depression". Restriction on business is very likely to harm commerces. And since the globalisation of the world, it could spread in about every country. Terrible huh?.. Actually.. No! While a depression does indeed make life a whole harder. Precedent economical depression also allowed the state to interfere more in the economy : ie. The provindencial state,Welfare state, etc (some might even call that Socialism *le gasp*) which wouldn't be a bad thing at all.

But yeah.. I suppose for the sake of argument and keeping it simnple... guess he had to omit some stuff <.
